Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are looking for a **Senior Backend Engineer** to be part of our **Foundation Tribe**, to support our growing regional Product team here in Singapore as part of an international team of highly talented and motivated people. ### Responsibilities: - Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges across software and infrastructure layers, with a focus on optimizing performance, reliability, and scalability. - Contribute to the design and evolution of system architecture to address current business needs while ensuring scalability and adaptability for future technologies. - Drive code quality by enforcing coding standards, conducting comprehensive code reviews, and implementing automated testing frameworks to ensure early bug detection and software reliability. - Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables within autonomous teams. - Work in a cross-functional and international team to deliver a holistic solution. - Participate actively in architectural discussions, open reviews, and knowledge sharing with peers. - Be an active partner for Product management in order to provide the best value for stakeholders and our customers. - Good understanding and independent application of cloud environment, CI/CD, testing and validation - Independently applies design patterns and best practices in reliability management (resiliency, autoscaling, monitoring, alerting) - Mentor junior engineers, sharing technical knowledge and best practices while modeling strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills to uplift overall team performance.
