**Role & Responsibilities** - People Manager for Compliance Ops team where you will coach, mentor, and develop team members in their current roles to develop and grow their career. You will also hire, onboard and train new team members as needed. - Provide leadership and direction to the team by leading meetings and providing regular updates for them to do their role effectively. Work together with the team to solve problems and achieve shared OKRs/goals (eg. compliance related remediation projects) - Act as point of escalation for any account opening or compliance operations issues, resolving discrepancies timely and addressing client inquiries in a timely and professional manner. - Manage growth and process improvement projects related to account opening and compliance operations by developing project plans, setting deadlines, coordinating with internal teams, and reporting on progress to leadership. - Analyze data and performance metrics related to client satisfaction, retention, and engagement. This involves identifying trends and patterns, and developing strategies to improve performance over time. - **Team and Resource Management**: Achieve the team's and company's goals by managing your team and tech resources efficiently, partnering and collaborating with other teams as needed. - **Account Opening**: Oversee the account opening process for new individual and corporate clients, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including sales and legal teams, to facilitate smooth onboarding experiences. - **Periodic Review**: Handle periodic review process for existing individual, joint and corporate client accounts, conducting risk assessments and updating customer profiles as necessary. Ensure timely completion of reviews per regulatory guidelines. - **Regulatory Compliance**: Stay abreast of changes in regulatory requirements related to account opening, KYC, and AML/CTF.
